Personal data visualisation project carried out in 2024 with the aim of exploring and presenting the most listened to songs of 2023 on Spotify using a comprehensive Power BI dashboard.

The goal is to allow for an objective comparison with other streaming platforms and to identify trends in the types of content offered.

How to enhance a music database by answering exploratory questions:

• What genres dominated 2023?

• Which artists generate the most listens?

• Are there trends in duration or popularity?

• What is the geographical and linguistic distribution of popular tracks?

• 🔍 Data exploration: parsing and cleaning the top tracks database for 2023

• 🧮 Descriptive statistics: genres, duration, popularity, artist followers

• 📊 Design of an interactive Power BI dashboard with:

  • Histograms & heat maps

  • Dynamic filters (genre, artist, duration)

  • Pie charts and key indicators (number of tracks, average duration, etc.)

• 🧭 Smooth interface to navigate by artist, region, genre, overall ranking
